Over the past few years, Sertari has been making her mark on the progressive rock scene as the lead vocalist of Karnataka. Since joining the band in 2018, she has collaborated closely with founder Ian Jones, leading to the release of Requiem for a Dream in 2023. The album was met with critical acclaim, earning Sertari the title of Best Vocalist of the Year from ProgRock.com. Following a highly successful tour in support of the album, she and the band embarked on an extensive 20-date UK and European tour in 2024, further solidifying their reputation for captivating live performances.

Alongside her work with Karnataka, Sertari is currently developing her solo career in collaboration with her partner Ben K, who co-writes, produces, and performs drums on her projects. Her latest singles, Asylum and Break My Heart in Two (released via Mayfield Records), showcase a more mature and refined sound, highlighting her evolution as both a songwriter and performer.

As a performer, Sertari is known for her distinctive blend of emotive electro-pop rock, pairing soaring, dynamic vocals with driving guitars, atmospheric synths, and powerful rhythms. Her live shows are celebrated for their energy, emotional depth, and her remarkable vocal range.

Born in the UK to a Cypriot family, Sertari grew up in a quiet town where her passion for music became her strongest outlet. Influenced by an eclectic range of artists—from Michael Jackson and Led Zeppelin to Kate Bush, Nightwish, and Within Temptation (the list goes on) —she is not afraid to embrace a wide spectrum of genres, believing that a truly accomplished songwriter must immerse themselves in diverse sounds and techniques.

Highlights of her career include performances at the London Olympic Fan Zones, Hard Rock Café Cyprus, London Fashion Week, and a memorable New Year’s Eve televised headline show in Nicosia, and Night of the Prog in Germany.

Throughout her career, Sertari has collaborated with acclaimed producers and artists including Adrian Hall of Z-Management (Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys), Grammy Award-winner J. Ivy (Jay-Z, Kanye West), and Pete Craigie (Take That, Beverley Knight, Stevie Wonder). She has received recognition for her artistry with an Akademia Award, nominations for Best Live Act and Best Song at the Exposure Music Awards, and the title of Extreme Exposure Award Winner at the UK Open Mic Finals.
